Veronica Vazquez
Veronica Vazquez joined the faculty at NCSSM in 2018. An Ohio native, she studied natural resources at Cornell University before earning a master’s degree in education from Stanford University. She has been teaching mathematics since 1999 at both the high school and the college level. In addition, she was an item writer for the math portion of the GED for several years and is a co-author of Barron’s GED Flashcards. Veronica is passionate about cryptography, ethnomathematics, crocheting hyperbolic surfaces, and recreational mathematics. She also loves reading — especially science fiction and fantasy — tabletop games, gardening, baking, and playing with her cat.
What is something you enjoy about teaching at NCSSM?
